A Royal apology to Royals Review

Stay connected for news and updates

I would like to issue a Royal apology to the readers of Royals Review. Back in September, I was led to believe by insiders within Royals management, that the plan was to trade Zack Greinke for more depth, re-sign him when he becomes a free agent in two years, and I posted this info on Royals Review. At the end of the Winter meetings, I still believed it to be true, but now it appears he wants to be a member of the Dodgers. I apologize for my previous post to all the readers and bloggers of Royals Review for this information. I still believe in the Royals and hope they won't trade Wil Myers for a (2 yr) pitcher and sign a remaining free agent such as A. Sanchez, E. Jackson, or someone else to bolster the pitching staff. If any trades are to made to better the Royals, I suggest Francoeur and Chen, to dump there salaries and improve the team at 2nd base and pitching staff if they can. I believe that the Royals are headed in the right direction, but don't trade away future great everyday players for a 1 or 2 yr pitcher. With that said, sign a really good free agent starter (not named Greinke) now! GO ROYALS!!!
