Marc Topkin, Rays beat writer for Tampa Bay Times is reporting, via Twitter, that he is hearing that the Rays have traded James Shields & Wade Davis to the Royals. This must be pure rumor. While the source is certainly reputable, even the reporter doesn't yet have confirmation. Why on earth would the Rays move Wade Davis? Thats the part that makes it seem a bit over the top. Less is desperate, and sometimes people in that stat eof mind do wierd things.
