Dayton Moore on Clubhouse Confidential on Wednesday
4:30 and 6:30 on MLB Network. I will catch the 2nd showing if no one else gives an update of the earlier viewing.
This was brought up in one of the threads, but figured I would make a Fanshot of it.

Clubhouse Confidential is really a terrific show
But I don’t see it being confrontational, like “why don’t you use stats.” I think it will be more like “how did you develop such a great farm system”, “how important is that for small market teams”, and maybe some questions on how the Royals use stats.

I think you're right.
But at the same time, a question of “Why don’t you use stats?” would be ridiculous to ask. No matter the truth, Dayton can talk about how they look at everything and will mention the 2 guys + Jin Wong who take care of that.
The show is very good, indeed. BK will give a good interview I think. Better than the usual stuff on AM radio in Kansas City. And because Dayton is talking to a more reputable source, I think he’ll give better answers. Just think, would you give more detailed answers to Brian Kenny or Bob Fescoe?
Odds BK asks, "Yuni-What were you thinking?" 100-to-1
Odds Dayton mentions Francoeur with or without being asked? Off the board. It will happen.
Brian Kenny isn't on.
What the hell?

2012 is the year we shine (hopefully. If not, then it will be 2013).
The Interview wasn't as good as I expected it to be.

I don't have MLB Network anymore
but I doubt I missed much. I figured anything semi-noteworthy would end up being repeated here anyway.

I just turned to MLB Network to see Mitch Williams say that the Royals are the best fit for Johnny Damon.
Jesus Christ, this guy is pretty damn stupid.
Killing time until time kills me
I saw that too.
Mitch Williams shakes like a drug-addled Haray Caray.
We should trade for Vance Worley.
Weirdly, I just watched the pilot for this the other day.
Or at least started to. Fell asleep.

It hasn't aged well.
I watched the first three seasons or so (rough estimate) when they aired. I’ve never been a TOS fan, but I loved me some TNG and actually just watched First Contact with a friend who’d DVRed it. Weird that Adam Scott was at the Conn on the Defiant.

To me it was best later on
When the story became more serialized and less like a procedural. It’s also the only time in Trek a war played out from start to finish in a series. I’m fine with it being underrated.
All episodes on netflix instant
Wife and I are through season 2 so far.

It was a decent series
Third best Star Trek series though.

You'd think a qualification to being on that network
Would be looking at a depth chart every now and then.
Oddly its not even close to being the dumbest thing to ever fall out of Mitch Williams' head

At least if they are going to go with a blow hard loud mouth idiot pitcher...
At least they could go with someone who is entertaining like Rob Dibble or John Rocker.

He tries to hard to trend respectable
you are right…it would be more entertaining if a real loose cannon got loose on there to balance out the faux stuffiness of Plesac and Ripken. speaking of which, Eastbound and Down Season 3 in a few weeks. You are FUCKING OUT.

I have actually gotten fantastic life advice from Dibble when he cohosted with Dan Patrick.
He says he has a good buddy who is a sheriff, and he keeps that Sheriff’s business card in his registration sleeve, that way whenever he gets pulled over, he hands the registration to the cop, cop sees the sheriff card, lets him go.
Of course now I just need to befriend a sheriff.

Nothing new at all
He can talk for 5 minutes and not say anything worth while.
Doubting Thomas, the patron saint of sabermetrics
He's a master ! I got more in a 20 minute talk at Werner Park off the record than anything I've heard him say in an interview in
5 years, guess thats just the job
Checkout Royals minor league notes at www.14for77.blogspot.com
I'd kill for a transcript of that off the record conversation
