OT: Help me find a specific baseball card
I have been trying to track down a specific baseball card for the past couple of hours. I know that I have owned it, but I don't know if I still have it.
Here is what I remember:
1) It was from a subset of the larger set (like a Diamond King or something like that)
2) The image on the card was drawn.
3) The subject has a comically huge batting eye (as if to express that the batter was really patient)
Here are things that I think I know
4) It was from the 1990s and probably a California Angel
5) The player in question may not have actually been a very good hitter...maybe Gary Disarcina or Garret Anderson.
The main thing that I remember was that the drawing had the player with one eye that was much, much larger than the other. I know that's not a lot to go on, but I have faith in this board's knowledge base on obscure baseball cards.

doubt this is it.......but here are the 12 cards from that series
i didn’t see anything that looked like what you said. if you “zoom in” on each card, you can flip it to see the cartoon on the back.

That's why I was looking for it...
I remember thinking it was a cool card as a kid, but now I question It.
"I DARE you to make less sense."
I was going through old baseball cards yesterday with my 6 year old son.
He’s crazy about watching and playing baseball, especially his Royals. He picked up one little plastic hard case and said “dad, what’s that say on the end of his bat?” Thank you Billy Ripkin…
I'm waiting for my wave of talent to arrive.
