Ya Want Hope & Faith?

Here's how The Outside Corner blog envisions a Royals champagne run in 2012:

At the end of the season voters were stuck deciding between Butler, Gordon and Albert Pujols for the AL MVP.

Aaron Crow’s transition from the bullpen to the rotation was a seamless one as he contributed close to 200 innings with a 3.20 ERA and close to a strikeout per inning.

and (spoiler alert)...fat Tigers aid the cause.

So, where's the parade!!??

You May Say I'm a Dreamer

I'm not sure who The Outside Corner is

But Hope and Faith sound like strippers at Bazooka’s.

I love the 70s. When KC baseball was about living, and double-live gonzos weren’t about porn.

Living? Um, I meant winning. I must be on quaaludes.

Who isn't?

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Hope and faith?

This sounds more like mushrooms and LSD.

How did this guy inherit Poz’s annual “The Royals Will Win the Division” column?

If I'm not mistaken

I think this guy said he was writing 30 columns, for how each team could be the winner. Not that he was predicting a Royals win as likely.

I can't wait to read his column on how the Astros do it

An alien invasion or a freak rash of plane crashes involving all 29 other teams will have to be involved.

Send me an email please.

My email can be found in my Fantasy Baseball post. I just need your address for when I send out the invites, if you are still interested.

They did the Astros already

Enjoy.

They seem to be doing it division-by-division. Unless I missed something, they’ve already done the entire NL East and Central and the entire AL West, and in the AL Central, they haven’t done the Twins yet. AL East and NL West still to come, I imagine.

I love how this (and most of the other "it could happen" stories)

involve Chen having a career year at age 34/35, instead of Paulino or Hoch having one at age 28.
