HOSMER'S GLOVE IS ON THE WRONG HAND!!!!
The name of that song played at KC Comets games in the '80's was Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase." Now you know.
mind = blown on Hosmer photo
I never knew the purpose of wearing undershirt + shirt + shorts is so that the colors line up itself when you field ground balls
I am probably the only Royals fan in Hong Kong?

This generally goes unnoticed because of how loosely baseball uniforms fit,
but Alex Gordon is fucking ripped.

...oh, I noticed.
AND HEY! Looks like everyone is in the best shape of their lives!
In all fairness though...
he does look much more fit

I honestly can't tell if he is moer fit, or if I just think of him as fatter in my head.
The other day, I met up with a friend I hadn’t seen for a couple months and he asked “have you lost weight?”
“No. In fact, I gained 10 pounds since I last saw you.”
“Oh,” he said. “I guess I just think of you as a fat guy in my head.”
“I…I…hey, f*** you!”
Butler deserves some credit
It appears to me that, every year, he gets in better shape. I think it’s obvious he puts a lot of work in on his body from where he was as a rookie.

Yeah, I know.
That’s why I was looking for it, but we don’t ever get to see it. This is serious confirmation.

It doesn't go unnoticed with him.
Maybe the calves a little, but it’s mostly noticed. Just ask my girlfriend.
I've always noticed how ridiculous his forearms are

But he's less muscular than years past
which is probably a good thing

Interesting choice for Gordon.
Full sleeve on the glove arm?
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
Rock Chalk Talk
OT: Soccer
FC Barcelona has pretty much blown the League after a loss to Osasuna. Real Madrid is virtually uncatchable. They’re still alive in the Spanish Cup, though, and in the Champions League, where they’re about to eliminate Bayer Leverkusen.
Note: There’s a conspiracy theory that says the Allies never bombed Leverkusen in WWII because they had an interest in the Bayer chemical/pharmaceutical plant there. Bogus, of course.

Whatever. It's bogus.
They blew the crap out of everything they could in Germany without caring who it belonged to. Leverkusen, near the Ruhr, was probably hit a dozen times. All of Germany was bombed to rubble by May ’45.

My Wife Was
Born in Dulken on 5/3/45. I’ve heard a little about this. Dulken is about 60 KM from Dusseldorf, near the Dutch border.

My Mother-In-Law Spent
Her pregnancy on trains moving from one bombed out city to another that was deemed safer. Many times, she got a seat because she was a young, pregnant blonde haired, blue-eyed woman. Her husband, Heinz, was a prisoner in eastern France. He broke both ankles to keep from going back into battle with the sorry remains of his battalion, and was captured. He probably would not have survived another battlefield. He and nearly all the troops in the field knew it was a lost cause by 1945. He was no fan of Hitler, or Stalin for that matter.

Good thing she was in the West, not the Soviet zone
It’s estimated that the Red Army raped some two million German women. The Wehrmacht packed it in in the West in March ’45 and held out to the death against the Soviets. Some 10% of the total casualties in the history of the Eastern Front happened in the Battle of Berlin.
