According to the KC Star, Bubba Starling has been rated with a "75" in the Baseball America Handbook:
Baseball America, in its Prospect Handbook, recently graded Starling at 75 on the 20-80 scouting scale, which projects his potential to be in the company of "franchise players and No. 1 starters such as Albert Pujols, Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter and Roy Halladay."
We all know Bubba Starling is a highly rated prospect, but I had no idea that he was in the company of potential hall of famers such as Albert Pujols, Roy Halladay, Alex Rodriguez, and Derek Jeter.
I realize that this is no guarantee that he will put up HOF numbers, but this is very high praise...higher than any Royals prospect I've ever heard about.
Can Bubba Starling live up to these expectations?
Just based on the odds, probably not (210 votes)
I will withhold judgment until I see how he performs in the minors in 2012 (154 votes)
