KANSAS CITY, MO - Royals General Manager Dayton Moore announced yet another bold long-term deal today, locking up a subscription to Time Warner Cable to a four-year deal with options for 2016 and 2017. Moore, already committed to receiving high-speed internet connection from Time Warner through 2012, added phone service and cable television in the "Triple Play" option for the next four years.

"Its a great deal that shows a commitment both on our side, and from Time Warner's side," said Dayton Moore at a press conference Thursday afternoon. "We also receive HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax for free for four months. I mean, have you seen 'Game of Thrones'? That show is amazing!"

"What it came down to, is Time Warner offers plus HD channel options. And plus HD channel options."

Moore, having already signed catcher Salvador Perez and shortstop Alcides Escobar to long-term deals this off-season is also working on long-term deals with outfielder Alex Gordon, a Verizon cell phone family plan, and an extended warranty on his Ford Escape.

"We are committed to building a strong long-term nucleus for this club, especially up the middle - catcher, shortstop, center field, and the entertainment room."
