Simple Mendoza poll

As of now, Luis Mendoza is sitting as the Royal's 6th starting pitcher on their depth chart. There are reasons to love him; there are reasons to hate him. His stats have been excellent both this year and last year in spring training, he was last year's Pacific Coast League player of the year in AAA where he pitched a disputed no-hitter, and he went 7+ innings in his two major league starts holding both the ChiSox and Tigers to 1 earned run apiece. On the other hand, he's old as dirt, he doesn't seem to strike out alot of batters (except for this spring), he was god awful back when he first appeared with the Royals, and he is ugly (but not in a good way).
