The Secret Society

There is a secret society among select Royals. They have a handshake that players pass on, along with some sort of powerful knowledge on the organization or owner, who knows maybe even both. Anyway it keeps them in KC until they are ready to move on. No one really knows how it started, or how the next player is selected. The unwritten rule is that there shouldn't really be more than one keeper of the knowledge on a roster at a time. Some overlap is inevitable and that is okay, and often times a player is on the roster for a year or two before the knowledge is shared with them. A player with the knowledge usually keeps it to themselves until the last year of their tenure. Keep in mind it doesn't always work this way though. Rumors are out that it started with DeJesus himself, but most believe it is much older and deep seeded. I have been able to (with confidence) trace it back as far as Angel Berroa, but have strong evidence that it is much older than this. As far as I can tell Berroa shared it with Emil Brown. It then went to Ross Gload who passed it on to Willie Bloomquest, who passed it to Yuni, who shared it with Kendall. This is where it gets complicated. Kendall passed it on to Getz not thinking Yuni would be back and, boom here he is. The thing is Getz doesn't know that Yuni knows! Getz hasn't passed it on yet and players only have access and knowledge of their downstream partners, and the one upstream player that passed it on to them. It is modeled after Amway in that respect. Anyway since Getz got it from Kendall…
