RRCCA V - Closer Entrance Music

Royals fans are going to have to get used to a new closer entrance song this season. Joakim Soria will not be entering to Guns N' Roses "Welcome To the Jungle," since he will be out for the season recovering from Tommy John Surgery. It seems likely that we will be treated to Jonathon Broxton as the closer, and if he chooses the same song that he entered with as the Dodgers, we will hopefully associate Black Sabbath's "Ironman" with the same feeling of relief and security that most Royals fans felt with "Welcome To the Jungle" (last year non with-standing). I have no idea what type of song Greg Holland will choose if he wins the closer role, but if this list of songs is any indication, odds are it will be radio rock.

For this exercise, however, imagine you discover that you can throw 100 mph with a filthy split finger on the side. You fly down to Surprise and show you new-found talents to Yost and Moore, who have no choice to make you the team's closer. Part of your new responsibility is to pick your entrance song. Don't feel pressure to pick a stereotypical stadium anthem (unless that is your actual choice, of course); if Carlos Marmol can walk into "Rubber Band Man" by The Spinners, you don't need to walk into a song that could cause a mudfight at the Liberty Memorial.

Send your song choice to cmoylan@ku.edu. Please make the subject RRCCA V, and include a youtube link of the song you would like included. I would also prefer if you included your SBNation handle. People enjoy guessing who sent what song, but it can be difficult actually figuring out who sent what song.

I will put up the playlist on Friday, so send in your songs before then. And please rec this post so people see it.
