Ok, really it was a class action lawsuit by Huffington Post bloggers against HuffPo. As many of us do here, these bloggers posted articles on HuffPo and received no compensation. They were not promised compensation, nor had any reason to believe they would be compensated. Yet, they sued for compensation anyway. The bloggers' case was dismissed very early on with the judge basically ruling that their assertions did not amount to legal claim they could get anything for, even if all of their allegations were correct. Seems appropriate. I can't imagine why they thought they had a case. But I eagerly awaited the results of this case, and already had a rough draft of my claim drafted.
