The Royals are slated to play 29 games in March (including split squad games like today). This doesn’t include the last ST game in April or the 2 exhibition games vs. San Diego (not “official” Cactus League games). However, 18-11 IS POSSIBLE!!!

I got our record as 3 1/2 wins, 1/2 loss.
The loss counts as half because we were only playing with half our team. The win counts as 1 1/2 because we beat a full team with only half our team.

Why can’t this happen during the regular season: one game home and one maybe down the street a few blocks at a practice field; some guys could commute in a golf cart to pinch hit.
Just read in KC Star that Yost is planning on starting Yuni 3-4 times a week.
They also dispel all the “sabermetric criticisms” with the argument that he played for Milwaukee, so all those criticisms must be wrong.
