Deare Mom & Dad,
Last night was so great! I hit my first home run of the camp!!!
I had been working all the time on how I would run around the bases if I ever hit a homer and I had come up with thesse two moves I was going to do. First, I was going to point to the sky after I touched home plate. As a tribute to God and Grampa for helping me learn. Also, I was going to just a little have my hands like an airplane when I first started to run. But coach said that wasn't the write way to play the game.
But anyway after I hit it was so exited that I didn't remember.
It was such a fun game! I totally didn't think that I would play. When the season's games started I think that coach thought that I was going to this other camp, but then the boss told him that we had paid for me to come back. So he did now. It was a pretty cold night in Oak Land. But I was getting really good at shooting the baseball into the bin during the innings.
Then this guy named Lorenzo got hurt and coach said that I could play. The next thing I know, I'm there at the plate and I see this perfect pitch.
BLAST OFF!
In the dugout everyone was like 'whoa" -you- hit a home run? They didn't think I could do it but I did. I wanted to say something more, but then there started to be this conversation about girls, so I didn't say anything.
We were in California earlier. I forgot to tell you. I really wanted to go to Disneyland, but there wasn't time. I did buy some toys at the bus station though. Although now I am out of money!
