Gotta say, the Royals haven't got much to show for in the 2nd round over the last 6 years; Jason Taylor, Sean Runion (Jordan Zimmermann was taken with the next pick, with Giancarlo Stanton, Zack Cozart, Freddie Freeman and Austin Romine, later in that round), Giovatella, Eibner, Cam Gallagher, and a forfeited pick for Juan Cruz. I suppose Gallagher could turn into something, though I've heard he won't stick at C, reducing his value. I really thought Eibner needed a full, good season to maintain prospect status given he's 23 and in High A (?).
