This evening I was visited by the spirit of Hosmer. Dejected at our recent loss at the hands of the Orioles and weary from an evening of room-cleaning, I went to my local Taco Bell for a brief respite. With an order of 2 double decker tacos, a steak quesadilla, a potato soft taco, and a medium drink, my total came to exactly $11.00 even. In a further miracle, I ate all of it and was left feeling only contentment, and the episode of Top Gear I watched on Netflix had Simon Pegg AND Nick Frost do laps for the "Star in a Moderately Priced Car" segment. I take all of this as a sign that our two game losing streak will come to an end tomorrow. The serpents of Arizona will be driven from Kauffman Stadium, and Hosmer will make his triumphant return after riding thine pine for nine two days in a row.
