Mariano Rivera, despite spending his entire career for the most hated organization in sports, was probably one of the more likable guys in baseball. He was also remarkably dependable, never really having a down year, and remarkably healthy. For it to end like this, in a Vince Coleman-esque pre-game injury, victim to the Kauffman Stadium warning track, just doesn't seem right.
