Nice, nice win tonight. Good pitching, some good offense, beating the Yankees. What else is there? The Royals are now 9-17.

  • Six scoreless innings for Felipe Paulino tonight, in his first start of the season. Six strikeouts too. Groundballs and strikeouts.
  • The offense was fueled by Alex Gordon and Billy Butler, just like we dreamed about things being back when Hosmer and Moustakas were still in high school. Butler had two big doubles, while Gordon had three singles and a double of his own.
  • Francoeur had an outfield assist.

A nice win for the fans who turned out for pinetar bat night.
