Is Hosmer the next Casey Kotchman?

After watching Hos this season I'm beginning to think he is the next coming of Casey Kotchman. Middle teens homers, 25 doubles, .250 to .260 hitter with good defense. He is over matched by lefties and lacks the plate discipline to swing at pitches he can drive.

As a high draft pick it is difficult to platoon him, but perhaps that is his best shot at a decent average. I know it's early, but he is looking more like Casey each day.
