Ned Yost has used 34 different lineups - and that's with his strict allegiance to Missouri and international law that Alcides Escobar and Jeff Francoeur play every day.

20 pitchers have already appeared, 21 if you count MITCH. Ten players have already made a start for the Royals. They also had that one pitcher around for a few days who never even played, so bonus points for an extra pointless roster move.

This just seems like a lot. And these numbers will continue to grow. And the really curious thing is that so many of these guys are interchangeable. It's just pure roster churn, like some simulated video game season running on an unmanned console at the bottom of a nuclear sub.
