The Minnesota Twins just play the game the right way. They're old school. They're going to be fundamentally sound, they're gonna break up double plays, they're gonna move a guy from first to third, play good defense, bunt people over, and get clutch 2-out hits. It's the culture of the organization. And it starts with Ron Gardenhire. Year after year, the Twins are going be right there at the end.

They know they can't out talent or out spend everyone. They aren't the Miami Heat or the New York Yankees. But they do things the right way. And like the Braves, they don't try to reinvent the wheel with new stats or new strategies. They approach baseball the way it was done in 1960. And the results speak for themselves. Every year they restock with homegrown talent and they keep competing.

Model organization.

It's a joy to watch the Twins work. They're grinders. They give away nothing and fight for everything. They run out ground balls, they throw strikes, they smile and play with real joy. Fans in Minnesota, you've got something to be proud of in red, white, and blue.
