@lazyscience can you find a reason for Myers still being in AAA that isn’t either really stupid or really cynical?

You won’t like hearing this, but I talked with a scout-type the other day who said, and I quote, "Wil Myers isn’t as good as people think he is, and he’s not as good as he thinks he is."

Now, to be fair, this man thinks a lot of Myers. Thinks he’ll be a very good hitter in the big leagues, likes his strength, quick hands, all of those things. But he also points to Myers’ strikeouts — 90 of them in 87 minor league games at last count — as a bit of a red flag and something that will get exposed in the majors. My guy also said Myers’ rep defensively is pretty shaky, particularly with some Magellan-type routes on fly balls.
