After a short attempt at a comeback in AA, Jason Kendall retires from baseball. Hopefully. Finally. The only people that didn't seem to notice that it was was time for him to hang up his cleats 2 years ago was Jason and the Royals brass that gave him the chance. He barely had enough left in the tank to sit on a 5-gallon white bucket in low-A and be a bullpen catcher. I hope that the club cuts all ties with him, but what am I thinking. He will be back in some form. Minor league instructor. Bench coach. Opening day starter. Who knows. I just wish he would just go away. Please.
