In the wake of today's big trade news, I was just doing some idle musing. Jerod Weaver is pretty much hands down the best pitcher in baseball right now. I wonder what his reaction would be if the Angels sign Greinke for say $22 million a year. Weaver is signed for 14,16,16,18,20 through 2016. I think I would be kind of ticked off myself if another pitcher was making roughly $20 million more than me through the course of my contract.
