As much as we rag on Getz, his grit, his new batting stance, his possibly-overrated defense, etc. - he has actually been pretty decent this year. Through 163 plate appearances, his OPS+ is 95 (league average for a 2B is 94). From a WAR standpoint, BR has him at 0.9, while Fangraphs has him at 0.7. Extrapolate that out to a full season, and you're looking at roughly 2.5-3.5 WAR (SSS caveat, as usual). So is this enough to make you believe in Getz? Or if not, how much more would you have to see? (This is an honest question, as I can't figure out where I stand on him.)
