MLB Expansion
Jim Caple suggests that instead of expanding the wild card to two teams, that we should add two expansion teams and go to four 4-team divisions. I kinda like the idea (knowing that it will never happen). I don't like the divisions he creates: NL East: Mets, Brooklyn, Expos, Phillies NL South: Braves, Nationals, Marlins, Astros NL Central: Cubs, Cardinals, Pirates, Reds NL West: Giants, Dodgers, Padres, Diamondbacks AL East: Yankees, Blue Jays, Red Sox, Tigers AL South: Rays, Orioles, Rangers, Royals AL Central: Twins, White Sox, Brewers, Indians AL West: Mariners, Athletics, Angels, Rockies I propose this instead: AL East: Orioles, Red Sox, Yankees, Brooklyn AL North: Blue Jays, Indians, White Sox, Tigers AL Central: Royals, Twins, Rangers, Astros AL West: Angels, A's, Mariners, D-backs NL East: Braves, Rays, Marlins, Nationals NL North: Mets, Phillies, Montreal, Pirates NL Central: Brewers, Cubs, Reds, Cardinals NL West: Giants, Dodgers, Padres, Rockies
