Baseball America has name Wil Myers its Player of the Year. In many ways, many fans will have wished he had not won the award for the simple reason that he was in the minors all reason. With Jeff Francoeur the worst everyday player in baseball being the everyday starter in RF, Myers was the obvious option to replace Frenchy and stop the bleeding. The management didn't see it that way and Wil Myers stayed down and continued to dominate minor league pitching while other teams brought up from the minors like Mike Trout with the Angels, Anothony Rizzo with the Cubs and Manny Machado with the Orioles.

Congratulations to Wil Myers for being the best minor league player in 2012 ...... and to bad he is blocked by the worst major league player in 2012.
