For those who aren't familiar with the Out Of The Park baseball series, dive on in. Do you ever fantasize about being able to take reign of an organization as a GM? A new addition worth mentioning is that your scout will be on the look out to sign amateur/established International prospects, and even independent league players. The success of your head scout is determined by the scouting budget, the quality of your scout, and his assigned regions. All of this sounds pretty cool, huh?

If Dayton Moore's "all in" plunge results in a catastrophe, this game can help heal your wounds. In previous installments I'd find myself playing it much more after my beloved franchise fell out of contention. It's a captivating game that kept my eyes peeled to my laptop during a lot of Bruce Chen and Luke Hochevar starts. We all know what kind of pitchers they are, and it's usually just painful to watch. Ned Yost's long leash would guarantee you at least a couple hours of quality gaming time.

It's safe to say putting Mr. Francoeur on the trading block will be one of my first tasks after downloading the game if things once again things go awry this season. (Either way, HE GONE) The question is just how much of his salary will I have to eat? The AI gets smarter in every version.
