Today the Royals site reports Shields requested he only have to pitch 1 inning in tomorrow's game with no explanation other than Yost's comment "Shields knows his body...". Damaged goods? Maybe I'm just being paranoid - hope so! Meanwhile Meyers is hitting 429/444/529 in 7 AB's with 3 hits, 1 walk and 2 SO's through 3 games. I know it's still early and anything could happen - but it still stings!
