Royals All-Time Games Started, by position

A quick look at the Royals All-Time leaders in Games Started, by position. I've listed the Top 5, along with the current starter, and the number of GS in parenthesis beside each. Each player's bWAR while with the Royals is listed in bold. I have put asterisks (**) beside any current starter who could possibly make it into the Top 5 Games Played at their position during the 2013 season. Keep in mind that the WAR is not only for that position, but for the player's entire tenure with the club. The following players are already in the Top 5 at their current position: Gordon, Francouer, and Butler. The following players could possibly be by season's end: Getz, Moustakas, and Escobar.

I offer no commentary; draw whatever conclusions you desire. I just thought it was interesting, as I try to keep tabs on the "All-Time Greats."
