No question in my mind about this. Also, my wife and I had the most gender stereotyped evening ever, as she stopped watching after halftime to buy shoes online and watch The Good Wife on demand.

Ridiculous Idea

If Escobar goes down due to injury, there is a way to avoid Betancourt. Put Cain and Dyson in the outfield to cover all three spots. Gordon and Francoeur come in; Gordon plays short and Frenchy plays just behind him as a safety net/secondary shortstop. BOOM.

Open Question About Royals Review:

About how many visitors does the site receive in a day? Does it have more or less activity than the average SB Nation blogsite? I tend to think our little Royal community here is quite a good one, but statistics would be nice. Or, you know, speculation or the amount of visitors in Polk Points.

After a month of decent offensive production and excellent defense, Lorenzo Cain injures his arm. A few weeks into May, after an overall decline, Cain has Tommy John surgery. Who plays CF for the rest of the year? Also, how does this impact the Royals long term--who starts CF in 2013? Does Dyson get a shot to start, or will MITCH?

I'm gonna make this a thing, guys. Anyway, here's the situation: after a 2011 Pirates-esque hot start, the Royals sit at 48-42, trailing Detroit by a game. Pitching is still an issue, but Wil Myers has been tearing AA to shreds. Should the Royals trade Myers and others for David Price, who is available?

Slightly OT: Ethics of Sports Doping

I am in an Ethics class this semester, and I have a project next Thursday on the Ethics of Sports Doping. I must present both sides of the argument. Therefore, I open a discussion for the Pros & Cons on Sports Doping. Also, I understand what went on with the Mitchell Report, but I don't feel like I have an apt way of describing how badly the players got raked over the coals, or why they were treated so roughly (if they were) with the witch hunt. Scanning for stories on the net, I don't think I can find one that sums up what happened in its entirety. Anyone want to try to give a summation on the ins and outs of how the Mitchell Report went down?

OT: Las Vegas info

I've only been to Vegas once. It was 12 years ago and for less than 24 hours for business only. The wife is out on Surprise this spring, because we have friends going to Vegas at the time we were thinking about AZ. Any recommendations on which resort? At this time I think it's narrowed down in no particular order to: Paris, Caeser's, Venetian, and Palazzo. Help?
