Royals left fielder Alex Gordon and Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado on Friday were named the 2020 Rawlings Platinum Glove Award winners, an honor bestowed on the best overall defensive player in each league since 2011. The 2014 AL Platinum Glove winner, Gordon won his eighth and final Gold Glove this season after announcing that he would retire in September following a 14-year MLB career in Kansas City.
