Sports Network | September 12, 2008

Flushing, NY (Sports Network) - Friday's scheduled game between the Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets has been postponed because of rain.

It will now be played as the second contest of a single-admission doubleheader on Saturday, with the first game scheduled to begin at its original start time of 3:55 p.m. (et). The second game will begin shortly thereafter.

The Mets' Johan Santana and the Braves' Mike Hampton were scheduled to start Friday's contest while Jo-Jo Reyes for Atlanta and Pedro Martinez for New York were slated for Saturday's game.
