Rangers' McCarthy leaves early

Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Texas Rangers pitcher Brandon McCarthy left Monday's start against the Detroit Tigers with a blister after retiring the first two batters on seven pitches.
The Rangers' trainer came out to the mound and McCarthy was pulled in favor of Luis Mendoza.
