Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Texas Rangers shortstop Michael Young left Wednesday's 17-4 loss to the Detroit Tigers after aggravating a fracture in his right ring finger.
Young has been playing the last few weeks with a fracture in the finger and also has a cyst on his right wrist.
Young was 0-for-2 before leaving and Ramon Vazquez replaced him in the field. Vazquez ended 0-for-3 with a strikeout.
For the season, Young is batting .276 with 12 homers and 76 RBI in 148 games.
