Sisco Traded to White Sox

According to this article at Baseball Digest, we have traded reliever Andy Sisco to the Chicago White Sox for 1B/DH Ross Gload. Gload is 31(!) and has never been a real stud. I can't think of any reason we would need a 31 bench player on this team, especially by trading a live arm in Sisco that had a great year in 2005.

The only reasonable explanation going on in Dayton's head is that with all of the arms we have brought in, Sisco wasn't going to make the team. But even if that were the case, we could have sent him down to AAA Omaha and got him to pitch there at least to start the season off, or we could have at least gotten more than a 31 year jold benchwarmer.
