Buddy vs. Muser...round 1.

Obviously, this does not take into account the differences in GM and personnel between these coaches and therefore, this is pretty meaningless.  However, well...I don't have anything else to say.  Here.

Total    CAREER     317    431   .424

Let's now look at the 1997 and 1998 seasons where Muser actually faced off with Bell in a battle of the "BRAINS!"  KC didn't face Colorado during the 2000-2002 seasons, so we can only judge the head to head by these two seasons.  [NOTE: Bell only managed 137 games during the 1998 season, and I'm not sure when he was fired during the season...so a few games in the 1998 series may be against another coach.]

In 1997, the Royals lost the season series (5 wins and 6 losses).

In 1998, the Royals tied the season series (6 wins and 6 losses).

Pretty even overall.  I guess this is why a few people on here like Bell so much, I mean, he lets us remember the good memories provided by Muser.
