The Draft is Set!

The big day is Sunday March 18th at 8:30 pm. If thats not a good time just let me know and we will try to get a good time for everyone. I set the max teams at 20 because I didn't know who would be playing. Its also at the head to head scoring at this time. Just look it over and if theres a majority of people displeased I will make any necessary changes. We are gonna go with the idea of a Royal must be in your lineup everyday so that should get interesting. proposed rule change

I suggested in the league that we use OBP and SLG rather than batting average for the league -- I'm told that in order to get this change through, we need to show support for the idea here.

If you've ever played in a fantasy baseball league, you may know how frustrating it can be if your best player ends up walking a whole bunch and you're not getting rewarded for it. I don't think you should be penalized if your player demonstrates a keen batting eye and good plate discipline.

Adding SLG just means that anytime your player hits a double or triple, you are rewarded. Under the current rules, a single is as valuable as a triple, which again can be somewhat distressing.
