After a miserable 10-1 loss to a lifeless Blue Jay team, the Royals look to rebound saturday and win a game for their glorious leader Buddisimo Bell. For the Royals its Texas-ex J.P. Howell (3-5, 6.78 ERA) who's coming off a somewhat scuffly no-hitter performance through 5 IP against the impotent Twins. Maybe he can get that ERA a bit closer to 6.00, fool the Royal front office into believing that a) bringing him up so early was a good thing and b) he's part of the solution for '06.
Ahh, happiness.
