Well, here we go. Nothing says Self Importance Nation like the insufferable Curst Schilling, who heroically and bravely returns from the bullpen (where he was vital, valient and virile) to start against the Royals tonight. Schilling's numbers aren't great (5-5, 6.43 ERA), but knowing the Royals, he'll throw a low-strikeout gem tonight, as his mastery over the Emil Browns and Denny Hockings of the world is displayed for all to see.
Master Curt squares off against Lima Time (4-12, 6.47 ERA) who's managed to flirt with the margins of respectability the last couple months. This should be an epic battle.
