From the Star and elsewhere:
Royals pitcher Luke Hochevar, the first overall pick in the 2006 draft, is scheduled to undergo an examination today in Kansas City to determine the cause of stiffness in his right shoulder.
Club officials have already made the decision to pull Hochevar out of the Arizona Fall League.
"All his strength tests are good," general manager Dayton Moore said, "and his velocity was up to 94 (mph) in his last start. We don't think it's anything serious, but we're going to have Dr. (Steve) Joyce examine him."
Hopefully its nothing. Of course, as Royals fans we fully expect the worst.
