Fluke.
There, I said it, and I stand by it. I don't think the Tigers are this good, and I don't think they'll win more than 83 or 84 games. Too much age and fragility in the lineup, too much Jimmy Leyland exposed to too much young pitching arm.
Still, 19 games against the Royals will stand tp help a team, and the Tigers get another taste tonight in Michigan. Jeremy Bonderman -- amazingly making his 101st career start -- takes the hill against Runelyvs (1-0, 1.29 ERA) who looks to re-establish his trade value errrrrr help the Royals get win number 6.
Those arrogant SOBs in Pittsburgh are practically taunting us with their incredible 7 wins, but now face a tough 3-gamer in Wrigley.
Should be an exciting game. I'm legitimately interested in seeing how Runelvys does, and my game-preview seems to indicate that Buddisimo is starting Stairs and Sweeney for the first time all season (with Minky of course, he's a given in Bell's world).
