Damn. Its amazing that we're already at game number 33. These loss filled days are just flying buy... Its now been a month since the Royals became officially publicly funded.
Tonight the Royals battle the Baltimore Orioles to inagurate an exciting weekend series. I'm curious to see if the team can continue its purported good play, especially since we now return to the dreaded road.
The most exciting news is that Buddisimo has given Huber the nod at DH (supposedly), due to Dougie's sacred veteran body needing rest. I can't remember the last time I've been more excited about a B prospect getting playing time (maybe the Dee Brown era part one?) but thats what this team will do to you.
Can it be a good sign if you bat your DH 8th however?
Another random thought: if Royals fans haven't turned on Emil Brown yet, they never will.
The pitching matchup features the fourth start of the season for Runelvys Hernandez (1-2, 4.91 ERA) who takes his game and his utterly strange name to the hill against Eric Bedard (4-2, 4.54 ERA).
It promises to be a magical night by the Bay.
