Game 47 Open Thread- Indians (27-16) at Royals (18-28)

Scott Elarton (1-0, 5.23 ERA) faces his old team tonight at the K, as the Royals look to grab their 19th victory of the season. In two starts this season The Self-Appointed Team Effort Inspector has allowed three homers and five walks against just two strikeouts: not exactly a great recipe for success and a background that makes his fairly weak 5.23 ERA look lucky.

The Indians counter with Cliff Lee (2-0, 4.15 ERA), who must tremble before a Royals lineup buoyed by the return of Octavio Dotel to the big club.

This promises to be the most fascinating spectacle of sport we've ever seen. Hopefully in three hours will all be gazing at JQ's RR version of the victory cigar.
