Game 105 Open Thread - Royals (41-63) at Rays (57-48)

Greinke's numbers since notching a blessed "pitcher win", the stat good ole Bob McClure thinks "it all comes down to":

  • 5 starts: 32 Innings Pitched
  • 33 hits allowed (in front of the worst defense in the AL), 11 runs, 9 earned runs, 10 walks, 39 strikeouts, 2.53 ERA.
  • In those five starts the Royals have scored the following number of runs: 0, 1, 2, 0, 3.

This is your brain, this is your brain as a trusted member of the Royals management team. Any questions?

It's getting increasingly annoying to follow these guys every day. They say enough idiotic things to somehow make themselves look stupid regarding two of the very few brightspots (Greinke & Bannister) that have happened in 2009.
