Game 65 Open Thread - Royals at Astros

I love playing the National League, it gives the Royals a sense of accomplishment.

Kyle Davies (4-5, 5.48 ERA) vs Felipe Pauline (1-7, 3.82 ERA)

Pauline looks like the Astros version of Zack Greinke, 1-1 in his last 5 starters while having an ERA of 1.75. His run support was 2.0 over that time frame.

Stat of the Night

Justin Bopp over at BtB looked at team base running stats from B-Pro and the Royals came in 3rd worst in the AL and 6th worst overall. So here is how everyone has done this season:

SB Opps SB CS SB% SB Attempt % CSH Picked off Out Running Bases Total Times Out Running Bases % of time out running bases XBT%

Gotta love the percent of time that Willie and Pods are attempting SB. Also gotta love that vertarn leadership of Pods, Kendall, Bloomquist and Ankiel getting put out running the bases. Finally, WTF was Kendall trying to steal home? Anyone remember the game?

Tough question tonight and I expect an answer.
