As we inch closer to a Plaza parade...

The Royals have been outhomered 16-8, but have outscored opponents 49-45. Ryan Lefebvre > Bill James.

The 2011 Royals have taken two series already, and have yet to lose a series. The 2010 Royals didn't win their second series of they year until May 16.

I don't know if its a repeatable skill, but the Royals seem to be good about inducing bad defense by their opponents this year. The Tigers looked like nine Alberto Callaspos out there.

Wilson Betimet and Chris Getz are conspiring to bury Aviles on the bench. Perfect day at the plate for Betimet, although that preening after missing a home run by a foot, costing himself a triple, would earn him a seat on the bench if Ned were truly an old school manager.

Are you buying Luke Hochevar stock yet?

Two separate references to the classic Simpsons episode "Homer the Great" in the Game Thread. You guys really brought it today.

Now to out-smallball the Twins.
