Approximately half the people on hand to view tonight's All-Star game are actually All-Star pitchers, and that illustrious group includes our own Aaron Crow.
And how happy we all are about that.
Crow is a vaguely worthy selection, as these things go, but he's also a middle reliever. He's not as high profile as a starter and he doesn't have closer cache, which matters in exhibition games like this. I expect that we'll see the usual parade of seven or eight pitchers used, but I'm not expecting a Crow performance. Should I?
