Mitch Maier Writes Home From Baseball Summer Camp: Letter 3

July 14, 2011

Dear Mom & Dad,

I was watching a movie and it rerminded me that I needed to write home. This was kinda a weird week. Everyone left for three or four days, but I didn't know what had happened. I woke up on Monday morning and everyone was gone. I had no idea what was going on and no 1 had told me anything!

I was scared. It was so quiet in the hallway when I walked out of my room. It was so quiet that I started to think that I was heering voices and ghosts. I started running down the hallway and making noise and trying to be loud. Finally I just ran outside and it was light outside so it wasn't scary anymore.

I remembered from the first day that there is a lady that is the nurse or secertery or something and they told me to always go to her if I had questions. So even tho the guys were all gone, she was there and then I found out. So it was ok until then at night it was scary again. I left the lights on all night and watched TV til the morning again.

Thank you for sending me some bucks last time. I went to the vending machine we have and bougt all that I could. I tried to by good things that would last. But then I saw on TV that Erin had been sent to Arizona for this game and I guess everyone went without me. I wish I could have gone but mebbe they didn't have money or thought I had already left. They are nice guys they just need to get to now my better.

Since july THE fourth I have played one inning I think, but I did really good at it. I have learned all the channels on the tv here. Some are different from home and some are the same. I will have to tell you about it when I get back.
