Quick hits

Hosmer was awesome. The HR was an opposite field blast.
Perez was also a perfect 3-3 with a home run.
Mendoza was serviceable. 3 Ks, 3 BBs, 1 ER. I am not sold on him. Too much crappy pitching in his past.
All Royals got a hit except Maier who walked twice.
Moose and Gia had errors. They make simple plays look hard at times.
Gordon with a bomb to lead off the game. Rally killer.
